Install the Outlook app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).

Open the app and tap the profile icon in the top-left corner.

Tap the + icon located on the far-left side and select "Add an Account" from the menu that popped.

Alternatively Tap the gear icon at the bottom-left to access Settings. Under "Accounts", tap "Add Account" and finally click on "Add an email account"

Enter your Alternmail email address and click “Continue”

When prompted to select an account type, tap "IMAP"

Enter your alternmail email password in the Password field and specify your Display Name as you want it to appear in outgoing emails

Tap the checkmark icon in the top-right corner. Outlook will handle the server configuration automatically, completing the setup of your email account.

Alternatively, for manual configuration of server settings, tap on Advanced Settings in this step. Here, you can input the required details for the incoming and outgoing mail servers:
Configure incoming mail server:
1. Server: mail.alternmail.com
2. Port: 993
3. Security Type: SSL/TLS
4. Password: Type your alternmail password
Configure outgoing mail server:
1. Server: mail.alternmail.com
2. Port: 465
3. Security Type: STARTTLS or SSL/TLS
4. Password: Password: Type your alternmail password
Tap the checkmark icon in the top-right corner. If all details are correct, your email account will be successfully added to Outlook.
Once connected, your inbox and profile will appear.
